The venue of the conference – Congress Centre Düsseldorf (CCD)  – is located on the banks of the River Rhine in the North of Düsseldorf, next to the trade fair grounds of Messe Düsseldorf. The Düsseldorf International Airport  is only 3 kilometres away.  The Central Station and the City Centre can be reached within 15-20 minutes. The direct connection to the motorway A44 and the numerous parking facilities situated adjacent to the CCD makes the CCD to a convenient and easy reachable venue.


By Public transport
The CCD Süd can be easily reached by public transport. The underground lines U 78 and U 79 as well as the bus No. 722 take you to the venue.

The lines U 78 and U 79 leave from Düsseldorf Central Station and take approx. 15 minutes to "Messe Ost/Stockumer Kirchstr." where you get off. From there it is a 15 minutes walk along "Stockumer Kirchstr." to the CCD, or you can take the bus no. 722 to the stop "CCD. Süd / Stadthalle”. 

By train
Düsseldorf has two major railway stations: The ICE station at the international airport and  the Central Station at Konrad-Adenauer-Platz which is  located in the heart of the city and is one of the most modern stations in Europe. Over 1,000 trains per day are responsible for Düsseldorf's outstanding connection to many cities within and outside Germany. Schedules and information can be obtained at the Deutsche Bahn Service Hotline calling: +49 (0)180 / 5996633 or at the Deutsche Bahn Online Timetable Information. From Düsseldorf Central Station the lines U78 and U 79 or the bus No. 722 take you to the CCD.

By car
The Congress Centre has its own direct access to the A44 motorway and is connected to one of the densest motorway networks in Europe. Germany's modern highway system forms part of the Continental European Motorway system, thus ensuring easy travel and comfortable access by land. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Brussels and Luxembourg are two hours by road.
Just a step from the CCD more than 1,200 parking lots are available. All you have to do is to follow the  signs to "Messe Düsseldorf". In the vicinity of the CCD, signs displaying "P3"  will lead you to the parking area for CCD. 


Flying to Düsseldorf
The Düsseldorf International Airport guarantees a fast connection to the CCD facilities, City Centre and your hotel. The airport with its 77 airlines is linked to over 1,500 cities on all continents. The flight time from most European capitals is between one or two hours and there are many daily non-stop flights from or to the United States. Should you arrive from overseas - landing in Brussels, Amsterdam or Frankfurt - it takes less than an hour to get to Düsseldorf. Düsseldorf International Airport is located just 3 kms from the Congress Center and 5 kms from the City Centre.  From the airport it is recommended to take a taxi which will bring you to the CCD in less than 15 minutes.

The taxi ranks are located in front of the arrival terminals A and C of the airport Düsseldorf International. Taxi ranks at Düsseldorf Central Station are located on both exits.
